      Unusual Edible Plants for the Home Vegetable Garden - Jessie Brock Community Center

      There are many edible plants that can be added to the home vegetable garden. Malabar Spinach, Chayote, Romanesco Broccoli, yard long bean, and Boniato are but a few you may have heard about. Many grow well in the Central Florida home vegetable garden. Learn about these and more unusual vegetables that may increase your vegetable garden productivity. $5.00 per household.  Pre-Registration is required along with the non-refundable class fee. Payment policy: Pre-registration is required along with the non-refundable class registration fee. All ticket sales are final, no refunds. If you prefer to pay by cash or check, please visit our office at 6021 S. Conway Rd. Orlando, FL 32812 from Monday – Friday from 8am-5pm. Call 407-254-9200 first to see if tickets are available for purchase. Cancellation policy: Classes are subject to cancellation if a minimum number of attendees are not booked. If class is cancelled you will receive a notification, and a refund confirmation to the e-mail that is provided during the registration process. Refunds for class cancellations may take up to 30 days to process if registration fee is paid by cash or check.
